Why We Still Have Hope / Por qué aún tenemos esperanza

People of God, please rise in body or in spirit and hear the good news of the gospel from John 6:35:

Jesus declared, “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.”

Pueblo de Dios, levántense en cuerpo o en espíritu y escuchen las buenas nuevas del evangelio según Juan 6:35:

«Yo soy el pan de vida» declaró Jesús. «El que a mí viene nunca pasará hambre, y el que en mí cree nunca más volverá a tener sed».

The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with all of you.

Que la gracia del Señor Jesucristo, el amor de Dios y la comunión del Espíritu Santo sean con todos ustedes. 

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Therefore, let us confess our sins to God using the words of the song, “Perdón, Señor / Forgive Us, Lord.”

Pero Dios demuestra su amor por nosotros en esto: en que cuando todavía éramos pecadores, Cristo murió por nosotros.

Por lo tanto, confesemos nuestros pecados a Dios con las palabras de la canción, “Perdón, Señor / Forgive Us, Lord.”

Hear the good news, through Jesus Christ, your sins are forgiven!

Hear the word of the Lord from Micah 5:1–4:

Marshal your troops now, city of troops,
for a siege is laid against us.
They will strike Israel’s ruler
on the cheek with a rod.

“But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah,
though you are small among the clans of Judah,
out of you will come for me
one who will be ruler over Israel,
whose origins are from of old,
from ancient times.”

Therefore Israel will be abandoned
until the time when she who is in labor
bears a son,
and the rest of his brothers return
to join the Israelites.

He will stand and shepherd his flock
in the strength of the Lord,
in the majesty of the name of the Lord his God.
And they will live securely, for then his greatness
will reach to the ends of the earth.

Escuchen la palabra del Señor de Miqueas 5:1–4:

Reagrupa tus tropas, ciudad guerrera,
porque nos asedian.
Con vara golpearán en la mejilla
al gobernante de Israel.

Pero de ti, Belén Efrata,
pequeña entre los clanes de Judá,
saldrá el que gobernará a Israel;
sus orígenes se remontan hasta la antigüedad,
hasta tiempos inmemoriales.

Por eso Dios los entregará al enemigo
hasta que tenga su hijo la que va a ser madre,
y vuelva junto al pueblo de Israel
el resto de sus hermanos.

Pero surgirá uno para pastorearlos
con el poder del Señor,
con la majestad del nombre del Señor su Dios.
Vivirán seguros, porque él dominará
hasta los confines de la tierra.

We give thanks to God the Father that our Savior, Jesus Christ, before he suffered, gave us this memorial of his sacrifice, until he comes again.

Damos gracias a Dios Padre, que nuestro Salvador Jesucristo, antes de sufrir, nos dejó esta conmemoración de su sacrificio, hasta que vuelva.

«El Señor Jesús, tomó pan; la noche que fue entregado, y habiendo dado gracias, lo partió y dijo: tomad, comed, esto es mi cuerpo que por vosotros es partido: haced esto en memoria de mí».

The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a sharing in the blood of Christ?

The bread that we break, is it not a sharing in the body of Christ?

Because there is one bread, we who are many are one body, for we all partake of the one bread.

All who are truly sorry for their sins, who sincerely believe in the Lord Jesus as their Savior, and who desire to live in obedience to him, are invited to come with gladness to the table of the Lord.

The gifts of God for the people of God.

Esa copa de bendición por la cual damos gracias, ¿no significa que entramos en comunión con la sangre de Cristo?

Ese pan que partimos, ¿no significa que entramos en comunión con el cuerpo de Cristo?

Hay un solo pan del cual todos participamos; por eso, aunque somos muchos, formamos un solo cuerpo.

Todos los que se arrepienten verdaderamente de sus pecados, creen sinceramente en el Señor Jesús como su Salvador, y desean vivir obedeciéndole, están invitados a venir con alegría a la mesa del Señor.

Congregation in Christ, since the Lord has fed us at his table, let us praise his holy name with thanksgiving.
