María Eugenia Cornou is director of the Compelling Preaching Coordination Program and intercultural learning for the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship. She serves on the executive leadership team and with areas of responsibility including staff learning and assessment, international programs, intercultural learning, and grantmaking support. 

She is from Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she taught biblical studies and was administrative director at International Baptist Theological Seminary. Maria holds a PhD in theology from the Free University of Amsterdam on the topic of Protestant worship in Argentina as well as degrees in public accounting and theology.
