A conference talk exploring psalms to sing in public worship that are most loved, most difficult, and most important for contemporary Christian life.

Calvin Seerveld (b. 1930), influential teacher and writer on philosophical aesthetics, considered his work on the revision committee preparing the 1987 Psalter Hymnal, for which he prepared several new metrical psalm settings, one of the most important assignments of his life.
