Shaped by a lifetime of images and values from a culture where God is pushed to the side, people often add biblical knowledge to quips from Dr. Phil, themes of pop song lyrics, and family proverbs, forming a stew of beliefs. To help form a biblical worldview, we saturated our congregation with a rhythm of scripture memorization that has become a key component of spiritual formation. This workshop showed how this practice has transformed us and our worship.
