Research shows a decline in adolescent and young adult participation in church. An essential first step in responding to this crisis is being reintroduced to the new adolescent that dwells in our homes, schools and church communities.

What has changed and what has stayed the same in the lives of our kids? How have we, as adults and the church, adjusted in our response to this new adolescence? In the afternoon the seminar focused on how both parish and parachurch youth ministry must re-tool in order to provide the best possible environment for a lasting, “sticky” faith for our young people.

Led by Chap Clark and hosted by Lyn Ten Brink at the 2013 Calvin Symposium on Worship.
