On February 25, Grand Rapids Christian Schools 7th-12th grade Orchestra program is pleased to present Sing a New Song: A Festival of Psalms. This concert grows out of GRCS’s year-long theme of dwelling in the Psalms, which is supported in part by the generosity of the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship’s Vital Worship, Vital Preaching Grants Program.

This workshop offers ideas and activities, many of which have been used with junior high, high school, and college youth, for working with the psalms in small groups or educational settings to prepare pieces that can help lead worship or devotional study.

After the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship published Dwelling with Philippians with Eerdmans in 2010, many church Bible study groups studied Philippians using this book as a resource, and have asked for more suggestions similar to Dwelling. Though there are few available on specific books of the Bible, this bibliography is an invitation to biblical study through image and word, each with a different approach.
