In the early 21st century, North American congregations were captivated by non-Western (global) songs and rushed to embrace them despite the underlying concerns of cultural appropriation and authentic performance practice. This session offered Scriptural principles and pastoral suggestions for enabling this body of congregational songs to revitalize our congregations.
