Isaac Wardell, Bruce Benedict, and Laura Fanucci provide some very practical first steps for congregations with a desire to address vocation in worship.

While many pastors and worship leaders have a desire to equip their congregation members to approach their daily work as a means of God's kingdom coming into the world, it can often be a more theoretical than practical conversation. After surveying individuals working in a number of fields, the leaders of this workshop look forward to sharing answers to some very basic questions such as "As a nurse, how do you wish your worship leader prayed for you in worship?" or "What do you wish your pastor understood about your job?"

Nurturing Children through Intergenerational Worship and Prayer

Congregations, pastors, and parents/caregivers have many opportunities to join together in worship and prayer practices that more intentionally engage children and help them come to know and love God and grow in faith together. Panelists will discuss ways to intentionally create intergenerational community in which people of all ages, including children, are welcomed as full participants whose participation enriches the community and gives praise to God.
