Come for a presentation and discussion on new resources, promising practices, and problem areas in the rapidly growing movements and initiatives to include people with disabilities and their families in faith communities and in ministry and theological training.

Rev. Bill Gaventa has lived and worked at those intersections for more than 40 years. He is the director of the Summer Institute on Theology and Disability and author of the book, Disability and Spirituality: Recovering Wholeness (Baylor University Press, 2018). 

Hosted by Barbara J. Newman, program affiliate with the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship and church services director and special education consultant for CLC Network in Wyoming, Michigan.
