Ministry Leadership Cohort

The Ministry Leadership Cohort is an initiative of the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship in which first and second year Calvin University students in any major field of study explore how their gifts and interests intersect with the work of the church in service to God’s world.

Students in the Ministry Leadership Cohort learn to practice leadershipbuild community, and love the church by participating in small groups, visiting churches, taking a leadership role in CICW’s annual Worship Symposium, and completing a manageable series of academic courses together. Students have the opportunity to go on a Spring Break pilgrimage in which they explore the ways God is at work in different contexts, and how God might be calling them to live into their unique identity and gifting in order to build the church. Students end the program with a summer internship course taken after their sophomore year.

Prospective students interested in being part of the Ministry Leadership Cohort will apply through the Calvin University Admissions process.
