Lecture 1:The Sonic Resonance of the Gospel
This lecture will explore preaching and musicality, particularly as it relates to the Spirituals, a key resource for preaching today. It will aim to reclaim song and singing as part of a preacher?s homiletical repertoire while offering some practical insights into how this may be done in the pulpit.

Lecture 2: The Somatic Presence of the Gospel

This lecture will present the theological, hermeneutical, and practical significance of the human body in preaching. Bodies matter in the life of faith, including the preparation for and practice of preaching. It will aim to show why and how this is so through an exploration of not only the act of preaching itself but the interpretation of scripture for preaching.

Cost:  $15.00
