Amanda Benckhuysen

Amanda Benckhuysen is a safe church consultant for Thrive and an ordained pastor in the Christian Reformed Church, and she also writes, speaks, and teaches about biblical hermeneutics, the history of biblical interpretation, and Christian feminism. She previously served as Old Testament professor at Calvin Theological Seminary in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Her publications include Immigrants, the Bible, and You (Calvin College Press, 2020) and The Gospel According to Eve: A History of Women's Interpretation (IVP, 2019).
