Suzanne McDonald is professor of systematic and historical theology at Western Theological Seminary in Holland, Michigan. She has degrees from Oxford, Cambridge, and St. Andrews universities and has written four books and numerous articles and essays on a range of theological topics but particularly the seventeenth-century theologian John Owen. Her most recent book is Love Bade Me Welcome: Drawing Nearer to God with the Poems of George Herbert.
