Rev. Najla Kassab is an ordained minister in the National Evangelical Synod of Syria and Lebanon (NESSL) and serves as director of its Christian education department. She served as president of the World Communion of Reformed Churches (WCRC) from 2017 to 2025, becoming the first woman from the Middle East to hold this position. Throughout her ministry, she has been committed to Christian education, women’s leadership, ecumenical engagement, peacebuilding, and justice. She has represented the voice of churches in the Middle East on numerous international platforms, advocating for hope, reconciliation, and the dignity of all people amid conflict and crisis.
