Monica Schaap Pierce has served as executive director of Christian Churches Together (CCT) since 2022. A member of the Reformed Church in America, she is deeply committed to fostering ecumenical dialogue at the global, national, and local levels. Her work includes facilitating multilateral Christian conversations, sharing her expertise with local churches and denominational gatherings, strengthening Catholic-Reformed relations as chair of the U.S. Catholic-Reformed dialogue, and periodically teaching theology at universities and seminaries.

Dr. Schaap Pierce has also provided leadership within organizations including Creation Justice Ministries, the National Council of Churches, and Christian Churches Together, contributing to efforts that foster Christian unity, understanding, and collaboration.
