You are invited to join the delegates of the Christian Reformed synod and members from many congregations at a hymn festival featuring the new hymnal Lift Up Your Hearts.
The festival will promote singing the whole story of God and God’s people through vibrant congregational song and participation of all ages including an intergenerational choir led by Dr. John Witvliet.The choir is open to children (10 years and above) and youth through the oldest members of your church. Music will be easy to learn and from the printed hymnal page. Rehearsals will be held Thursday June 6, 7:30-8:45 in the Calvin Seminary Chapel and Sunday June 9, 3:00-4:30 in the Calvin College Chapel. The Hymn Festival will be on Sunday, June 9 at 7:00 PM in the Calvin College Chapel. It is sponsored by the Christian Reformed Church Synodical Worship Committee, Woodlawn Christian Reformed Church, and the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship.
