Nicholas Pearce
Rev. Dr. Nicholas Pearce currently serves as Assistant Pastor of the historic Apostolic Church of God on Chicago’s South Side, where in addition to his teaching & preaching duties for Apostolic’s 12,000-member congregation, he serves as the senior adviser for church strategy. Dr. Pearce is also the author of the bestselling book, The Purpose Path: A Guide to Pursuing Your Authentic Life’s Work.
Beyond the pulpit, God is using Dr. Pearce in the academy as an award-winning professor at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and in the marketplace as the Founder & CEO of The Vocati Group, a management consultancy for churches, corporations, and nonprofit organizations around the world. He holds four academic degrees from MIT, Fuller Theological Seminary, and Northwestern University, and his work has been featured by ABC, CBS, NBC, NPR, The New York Times, Christianity Today, and UrbanFaith.com. Dr. Pearce also serves as a trustee of the Field Foundation, Fuller Theological Seminary, McCormick Theological Seminary, and Chicago Children’s Museum.
Dr. Pearce began serving in the Lord’s church at the tender age of three, was baptized at age six, was called to the ministry at age seven, and entered public ministry at age seventeen under the tutelage of his mentor and pastor, the legendary Bishop Arthur M. Brazier. God continues to use him as one of his generation’s most trusted and influential voices, with a ministry that has touched tens of thousands of lives across cultural, generational, and denominational boundaries with the truth of the Word of God.
