Lessons & Carols "Christus Paradox"

A service of scripture readings, carols, Advent hymns and choral anthems which focus on Jesus’ second coming and God’s promise to usher in a kingdom of justice and peace.

Calvin Women’s Chorale and Calvin Capella, under the direction of conductor Pearl Shangkuan, and the Campus Choir, under the direction of Aaron Polet and Paul Ryan, will lead the 46th annual service.

The service will be offered at 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm. There is limited capacity so early arrival is recommended. The service will be live streamed into the LaGrave Chapel for guests who are unable to find a seat in the sanctuary. Also view the worship service program.

This Service of Lessons and Carols is produced by the Department of Music at Calvin University, in cooperation with the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship, and the staff and council of LaGrave Avenue Christian Reformed Church, for whose hospitality we are most grateful.
