Event Details

The Calvin Institute of Christian Worship is excited to partner with Arrabon, a spiritual formation ministry that equips Christ-followers to actively and creatively pursue reconciliation and racial healing in their communities, to offer a curated experiential learning trip to Montgomery, Alabama.

This trip to Montgomery, Alabama will focus on The Legacy Museum, The National Museum for Peace and Justice, and key Civil Rights-era landmarks.

An Arrabon experiential learning trip guides communities into spaces of disintegration to hold a trauma-informed space framed by our "Foundation of a Reconciling Community" workshop. The work of racial healing and reconciliation is often impacted by fear, anger, shame, and grief. During this experience, participants process these complex emotions to gain confidence in their ability to lead their communities as ambassadors of reconciliation.
