Event Details

A composed work based on Psalm 150 by Anderson Isiagu, a Nigerian composer based in Los Angeles.

This musical piece was commissioned by the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship (CICW) as part of CICW’s year of Dwelling in the Psalms and with gratitude for the 150th anniversary of Calvin University.

This piece will be premiered by the Calvin University Orchestra at its April 27 spring concert. It will feature several Nigerian Calvin students, the full orchestra, a praise band, and Calvin’s West African drum ensemble, featuring Daniel Okereke and Noro Dung.
