The Psalm Fest is part of a Festival of Psalms weekend, November 9-11, which is open to everyone.
"Friends of the Groom," a national professional theatre company is headlining the weekend, offering a performance Friday evening, Nov. 9 at 7:30.
Saturday, November 10 Workshops run from 9:00-3:00 and include
1. Beyond Bathrobes (Drama in Worship) led by Friends of the Groom
2. Psalm Writing led by Howard Vanderwell
3. Art-Making as Spiritual Practice led by Rev. Shawna Bowman
4. Fasting and Feasting in the Psalms, led by Mrs. Lynn Bird.
Sunday's Psalm Fest closes out our weekend, and will feature a Community Choir and Friends of the Groom.
