Howard Vanderwell and Norma de waal Malefyt will lead a conference about Worship Renewal and the role of Song in Congregational Worship.

The public is invited to attend an interactive conference focusing on the key issues for a vital worship life.

Howard Vanderwell, retired CRC pastor and staff member of the Calvin Institute of Christian worship will lead a seminar about the Issues of Worship Renewal Congregations Face Today. Studies of congregations and their worship life provide over a dozen identifiable issues that are an active part of worship renewal—and conflict. Which appear in your congregation? There will be time for small group discussion.


Norma de waal Malefyt is a church church musician and worship planner.  She is on the the staff of the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship.  She will lead a seminar on The Role of Song in Congregational Worship.Congregational song is a vital part of all Christian worship. This sectional will clarify why we sing, how we sing, and when we sing. Songs should be vibrant and vital. We’ll do a lot of singing together.
