Rebekah Eklund

Rebekah Eklund teaches Christian theology, Scripture, and ethics at Loyola University Maryland in Baltimore, Maryland. Her two most recent books are The Beatitudes through the Ages (Eerdmans, 2021) and Practicing Lament (Cascade Companions, Wipf & Stock, 2021). She is also the author of Jesus Wept: The Significance of Jesus’ Laments in the New Testament (T & T Clark, 2015) and co-author with Ben Quash and Sam Wells of the second edition of Introducing Christian Ethics (Wiley-Blackwell, 2017). She is also a member of the Theology, Modernity, and Visual Arts working group and an ordained minister in the Evangelical Covenant Church who is interested in bridging between the church and the academy. Her current project is a commentary on the Gospel of Luke for the Baker Exegetical Commentary series.
