Pennylyn Dykstra-Pruim

Collaborating Partner

Pennylyn Dykstra-Pruim is associate dean for diversity and inclusion at Calvin University, Grand Rapids, Michigan. She holds a PhD in German-English applied linguistics, a MA in German literature, and a certificate in ESL. Her recent books are Understanding Us & Them: Interpersonal Cultural Intelligence for Community Building (Calvin Press, 2019) and Christians and Cultural Difference, co-authored with David I. Smith (Calvin Press, 2016).

Pennylyn serves as a collaborating partner with the Calvin Institute of Christian Worship by engaging Calvin faculty across many disciplines in their work related to intercultural learning and anti-racism.
