In 1991 Kevin Adams and his wife, Gerry, planted Granite Springs Church in greater Sacramento, California. Under their leadership, the church has helped begin multiple new congregations. Adams is the author of 150: Finding Your Story in the Psalms, The Book That Understands You, The Gospel in a Handshake: Framing Worship for Mission, and Living Under Water: Baptism as a Way of Life.  His forthcoming book, available in February 2027, is A Thousand Sundays: Conversations That Shape a Pastor’s Soul. He mentors church planters, serves as a spiritual director, and loves walking pilgrimages. He has taught university and graduate school classes at the Newbigin House of Studies, Calvin Seminary, and Western Seminary.
