Katharine Mahon

Katharine Mahon is an advising professor in the Center for University Advising at the University of Notre Dame, where she advises first year students in the College of Engineering and is involved in student development initiatives for engineering students. She is also an instructor in the Moreau First Year Experience program at Notre Dame.

Before she joined the advising faculty, Mahon received her doctorate in theology from the University of Notre Dame and taught in the department of theology as a postdoctoral student and a visiting professional specialist. Her book “Teach Us to Pray”: The Lord’s Prayer, Catechesis, and Ritual Reform in the Sixteenth Century was published in 2019 by Fortress Academic.
