Joseph Seo

Joseph Seo has been a family and children's ministry pastor at a Korean American church in the Chicago area for sixteen years and specializes in faith formation of children in immigrant families and in the influence of their parents. He received a bachelor of arts degree in linguistics (Turkish) from Osaka University of Foreign Studies, a master of divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, a master’s in Christian Formation and Ministry from Wheaton Graduate School, and a doctorate from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Seo was born in Seoul, South Korea, and raised as a missionary kid in Osaka, Japan. He is married to Joo, a wise, God-fearing woman, and has a son, Hymn, who loves fishing and soccer.
