Newsletters for Vertical Habits
These newsletters were created by Princeton Christian Reformed Church in Kentwood, MI as a part of their 2011 Worship Renewal Grant. You are invited to make changes that include information specific to your congregation. The Bible texts for each month are related to the topic except Sunday readings which were connected to the sermon text for the day. A newsletter for the Vertical Habit “Service” was created as a congregational response with personal contributions from members of all ages.

Thank you for your interest in Vertical Habits and the newsletters that were prepared by a recipient of a Worship Renewal Grant. All suggested scripture readings are on the second page of the newsletter. The introductory newsletter has readings for August. The Petition newsletter has readings for September. Illumination is for October, Gratitude for November, Praise for December, Blessing for January, Lament for February, Confession for March. In April the congregation will focus on Service. A congregational response newsletter will be created from materials submitted by the congregation. This congregation is in the midst of their grant year. I am not clear about the "Newletters for Vertical Habits." Are there others of these that are not included in the listing above. You have Blessing with January Bible readings and Confession with March Bible readings. Are the readings for February and others?
