We sat down with Dr. James Abbington and engaged him in a wide-ranging conversation on worship renewal, church music and much more. One of the topics of conversation was our Psalms for All Seasons: A Complete Psalter for Worship, which Abbington called not just a long overdue compilation, but a new way of thinking about old texts. He added: "This compilation brings a certain global freshness, a historical freshness, all under one cover." It is, he said, a complete Psalter, one that speaks to people wherever they are.
