Lukas Vischer

Lukas Vischer (1926 - 2008) was a Swiss Reformed theologian, author, and advocate of ecumenical dialogue among the world's Christian churches. He was the director of the Faith and Order Commission of the World Council of Churches and professor emeritus of ecumenical theology at the University of Bern, Switzerland. He has long been recognized as a scholar on ecumenism and worship.
