Wilson Cunha

Dr. Cunha is passionate about helping the church listen to God’s voice in the Old Testament through carefully reading Biblical texts in their historical and cultural milieu while appropriating them in our contexts. He holds a Bachelors of Theology (B.Th.) degree from José Manuel da Conceição Presbyterian Theological Seminary, a Master of Theology in Old Testament (Th.M.) from Calvin Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Old Testament (Ph.D.) from Leiden Universiteit. Dr. Cunha is married to Katie and has three children: Matthew, Isabella, and Chloe. In 2022, he became Professor of Old Testament at Calvin Theological Seminary.
