Alyce M. McKenzie

Alyce M. McKenzie, PhD, is the Le Van Professor of Preaching and Worship and the director of the Perkins Center for Preaching Excellence at SMU Perkins School of Theology. Her recent books include Making a Scene in the Pulpit: Vivid Preaching for Visual Listeners and Wise Up! Four Biblical Virtues for Navigating Life. An ordained elder in the United Methodist Church, she has an MDiv from Duke Divinity School and a PhD from Princeton Theological Seminary.
