Learning from the Worship Renewal Grants Advisory Board

Now in its 13th year, the Worship Renewal Grants program in 2012 awarded more than $300,000 to support a variety of worship renewal projects in 31 churches, schools and seminaries across the continent. Those 31 recipients joined a group of more than 600 such past recipients since the program’s first year in 2000! The goal of our annual Worship Renewal Grants program (made possible through the generous support of Lilly Endowment Inc.) is to foster well-grounded worship renewal in congregations and worshiping communities throughout North
America.

One of the key components in our annual program is our advisory board; each member of the worship renewal grants advisory board reads each grant proposal. In this series of videos, shot in the summer of 2012, we sat down with some members of our current advisory board to get their insights and advice on applying for a worship renewal grant. We think what they had to say is interesting and informative, and we hope it might be helpful to you as you
consider applying for a grant.
