Lead guitar/vocalist position at Westend Christian Reformed Church, Grand Rapids, MI (posted 2/24/2015)

Westend CRC is looking for lead guitar/vocalist (or even just vocalist) to lead worship 1x/month.  This person will provide musical/vocal leadership for the rest of the worship band (keys, percussion, vocals, guitar, electric, various others), with schedule largely determined by mutual availability.  This can be a one-time or continuing opportunity and pays $75/week to include a midweek rehearsal (Monday or Tuesday evening, typically 60-90 minutes), and Sunday morning rehearsal and service (service at 9:45).  If interested, e-mail Heidi or Kristen or call/text Heidi or Kristen.  

Full-time minister of Music & Worship at St. Matthew Lutheran Church, Grand Rapids, MI  (posted 2/11/2015)

St. Matthew Lutheran Church is seeking a full time Minister of Music and Worship who will lead a program of strong and creative worship that connects people with the heart of God. The candidate would work with a staff team and specifically with the Sr. Pastor to create worship services that inspire, comfort and convict people with the truth and grace of the Triune God. The ideal candidate would have grounding in liturgical arts and historic liturgies/hymns and an appreciation and advocacy for contemporary music and new songs of praise and adoration, which are in keeping with the purpose of a Christ centered worship environment.

Part-time worship coordinator at Lakeside Community CRC, Alto, MI (posted 2/6/2015)

Part-time professor at the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies, Orange Park FL (posted 1/31/2015)

The Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies is seeking a part-time professor to team-teach a doctoral level course on the Historical Development of Christian Worship twice a year, the first to second Wednesday after January 1 and the second to third Wednesday in June.  This is a hybrid course with online components besides the one week intensive class time.

Director of Youth Ministries and Contemporary Worship Music at First Presbyterian Church, Asheboro, North Carolina

First Presbyterian Church, Asheboro (FPC) is seeking a full-time Director of Youth Ministries and Contemporary Worship Music. Primary tasks include a commitment to the FPC mission of reaching youth with the gospel and growing them as disciples, as well as responsibility for contemporary worship leadership.  Duties include providing vision, administration, and leadership for all weekly, seasonal, and annual programs for middle and senior high youth; providing spiritual care in cooperation with the pastors for youth and their families; evaluating, enhancing and leading a praise team for contemporary worship.  The Director of Youth Ministries and Contemporary Worship Music will work closely with the pastors and other program staff to implement a ministry that serves the larger vision of FPC, a growing church of 600 members in central North Carolina.
