Discovery CRC is seeking a part-time Worship Director who will be responsible for planning and coordinating the worship ministry of Discovery Church with particular emphasis on liturgy and music. The Worship Director will work closely with the teaching pastor and Worship Planning team to develop services that support and enhance the message of the day. The Worship Director will offer servant leadership in the music ministry of the church, focusing on the weekly vocal/instrumental teams. The Worship Director will also encourage the use within worship of the artistic gifts (music, drama, dance, writing, vocal & instrumental, décor, etc.) of individual members of the Discovery community. This person will also serve as a Ministry Coordinator who will be a support person to the ministry teams of Discovery, as well as handle some administrative responsibilities for the church. Woodhaven Reformed Church is seeking a part-time Worship Director (10-12 hours per week). The Worship Director helps develop the gifts of others, prepare worship powerpoints, songs and schedules, and lead our weekly blended service.
Qualifications include, but are not limited, to be able:
- to lead worship with instrumental (piano preferred) and vocal skills.
- to direct a worship team of musicians, vocalists and sound/projection operators.
