Prayers of the People

Including this Arabic song from Egypt, "Come, Lord, with your Spirit"

Prose translation:
Come, Lord, with your Spirit and touch our land;
our land is thirsty for your Spirit.
Come and quench our thirst so we may see your truth as our nation blesses you,
then your peace would last forever and fill our land.

Fill our land with your light; so that our land,
under your promises, may know protection and blessing.
Our lives will exalt you; our land will be your light.
Joy will overtake us, and our hearts will sing to you.

Change and mold our clay jars, so our lives become the gospel.
We will testify to your truth and bless you generation after generation.
And we will see your truth as our nation blesses you,
then your peace would last forever and fill our land.
