Barbara J. Newman

Barbara J. Newman served as the Church Services director and Special Education consultant for All Belong in Wyoming, Michigan, a teacher at Zeeland Christian School, and a CICW Program Affiliate. She died in September 2020. Read her obituary and a tribute article. 

She wrote several books on creating a place of welcome in congregations for persons with disabilities including Accessible Gospel, Inclusive Worship, Helping Kids Include Kids with Disabilities, Autism and Your Church, El Autismo Y Tu Iglesia, and Body Building: Devotions to Celebrate Inclusive Community. She was a frequent national speaker at conferences and churches.
